Hello!

I'm Nicolás, I'm from Santiago, Chile and study Anthropology at University of Chile. 

I created this blog to show you my interests about traveling and other things during this semester. All of this in English language! 

To start with. If there is a country I would like to visit it would be Portugal, a country in western Europe, facing the Atlantic Ocean. It's a small country with a long, but little known history. 

What do I know about Portugal? Well, Portugal has two renowned writers: Fernando Pessoa and José Saramago, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1998. Also there is the University of Coimbra, one of the oldest European universities (1290).

I would like to eat "pastéis de Belém", (a traditional dessert made of eggs, butter, milk and pastry dough), and seafood and drinking wine in Lisbon or another city. 

Also I would wish to study my PhD in Archaeology at the University of Lisbon. During the last years Portuguese universities have reached important positions in the international rankings.
