 Hi everyone! Today I'm gonna talk to you about the best vacation ever! Actually my last vacations Where? in two places: Huasco (northern Chile) and San Sebastián (central Chile). In Huasco I worked in archaeological excavations with archaeologists, physical anthropologists, and other people, as part of a enviromental impact study. I was there during one month, where we found lithic material (projectile points, painted stones), pottery, malacological material (shells) and human remains.  I was an important experience to me, bacause it helped me to understand how the anthropologists work and being ready for future jobs in archaeology. Besides, I went with my sister and other people to the beach and Llanos de Charague National Park. It was very funny.  I was in San Sebastián during two or three weeks. I was there with my family and dogs (of mine and stray) and friends. It was a special occasion because a friend of mine came from Switzerland (he is studying a Master's Degree...

 Hello! I'm Nicolás, I'm from Santiago, Chile and study Anthropology at University of Chile.  I created this blog to show you my interests about traveling and other things during this semester. All of this in English language!  To start with. If there is a country I would like to visit it would be Portugal, a country in western Europe, facing the Atlantic Ocean. It's a small country with a long, but little known history.  What do I know about Portugal? Well, Portugal has two renowned writers: Fernando Pessoa and José Saramago, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1998. Also there is the University of Coimbra, one of the oldest European universities (1290). I would like to eat "pastéis de Belém", (a traditional dessert made of eggs, butter, milk and pastry dough), and seafood and drinking wine in Lisbon or another city.  Also I would wish to study my PhD in Archaeology at the University of Lisbon.
